Designing a cosmic interface without filling the void with stars, neon and decorative noise.

Most science-fiction imagery adds light to create scale. Far From Humans often attempts the opposite: removing enough information for what remains to become precious.

The direction called Residual Cartography is built from large occultations, incomplete arcs and a handful of thermal seams. It does not literally depict a planet, radar or cockpit. It suggests structures of which the frame can reveal only a fraction.

That restraint also avoids confusing mystery with illegibility. Text remains text, links remain links and navigation does not require visitors to become ship operators merely to reach a page.

Future concept art must enter this composition without covering it. An image will not be used as spectacular wallpaper, but as a situated fragment: a world, infrastructure, ship or production document.
